Stocks are well of the session highs but are still trading to the plus side.

Large cap tech stocks have come under pressure causing the Nasdaq to give up almost all of its gains.  Google (GOOG) 493.43 -6.60, -1.32%, Microsoft (MSFT) 26.26 -0.18, -0.68%, Apple (APPL) 275.56 +1.60, +0.58%.

Materials stocks continue to outperform today of the 32 companies in the sector only 3 are showing a slight decline.  3M (MMM) 82.20 +1.02, +1.26% and United State Steel (X) 45.88 +2.47, +5.69% are showing nice gains today.

Gold is down -15.60 to $1242.70 per ounce, while oil is fractionally higher trading at $77.48 per barrel.
