MIDDAY LUNCH

Dow 9975.50  -36.73, Nasdaq 2141.83  +0.71, S&P 1064.54  -1.65 

Stocks are mixed today without any real news to make stocks move in either direction.  The Financial Sector is the only sector trading at a session lows. The sector is down -1.5%. Citigroup (C)  $3.18 -0.04, -1.24%,  Bank of America (BAC) $14.60 -0.39, -2.65%

Retailers are up today +1.2%. Thanks to better-than-expected earnings, CVS Caremark (CVS) 32.93 +1.86, +6.00%.

Commodities have are posting  strong gains as a result of a weaker dollar, which is currently down nearly- 0.4% against a basket of foreign currencies.  Gold, is up +1.5% to $1068 per ounce and is one of the best performing commodities this session. Crude Oil is up +$0.39 to $71.58 per barrel.

In an Ironic story today, the Mortgage Builders Association (MBA) sold the 10 story building in a short sale for $41 million.  The building was originally purchased for $73 million.
