France & Greece Say No To Austerity. U.S. stock futures are lower after both French and Greek voters resoundingly rejected austerity. In France, Socialist Francois Hollande won the presidency from Nicolas Sarkozy. In Greece, the two pro-bailout parties gained just 32% of the vote.

The Avengers Break Box Office Record. Walt Disney’s (DIS) multi-superhero "The Avengers," smashed the U.S. record for an opening weekend by taking in $200.3 million in sales.  The precious record was only $169.2 million held by the final Harry Potter film. Globally, the Avengers has earned $641.8 million in just 12 days. Pre-market: 43.46 +0.53 (1.23%)
