Morning Coffee Pre-Market Wall Street News


Ford to Invest in Michigan. Ford Motor Co. (F) said it will invest more than $773 million in Michigan to update and expand its six manufacturing plants. The upgrades and expansions are part of the company’s plan to invest $6.2 billion in U.S. facilities through the end of 2015. Ford said the investment will create 2,350 new jobs.  Pre-market: 12.75 -0.04 (-0.31%)

Home Prices Post Gain.  The Case-Shiller data through the end of October showed home prices up 6.9% since January of last year. If the gains hold through the end of the year it will be the best results since 2005.
