MIDDAY LUNCH

Dow 10381.33   -66.60, Nasdaq 2218.50   -15.25, S&P 1096.64  -7.87 

The tech sector is lower today down -0.6% led by Semiconductor stocks which are down -1.8%.  Despite this Oracle (ORCL) 24.19 +1.26, +5.50% shares are higher today on news that Mark Hurd former CEO from Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) has joined Oracle as Co-President.

All ten sectors are lower with Financials off the most, down -1.28% followed by Capital Goods which are down -0.99%.

Google (GOOG) 465.36 -5.23, -1.11% made two announcements today.  First their highly anticipated GoogleTV will launch this fall in the U.S. and roll out to the rest of the world next year.  Google TV will be a free service that will allow users to search the web, access Facebook, Twitter, and the Android App Market Place.  More can be learned at www.google.com/tv/ .  Additionally they announced that they will be announcing partnerships with tablet makers later on in the year that will be using The Google Android operating system and Chrome web browser.
