MIDDAY LUNCH

Dow 10583.25  +39.12, Nasdaq 2300.84  +15.13, S&P 1126.76  +4.86 

The better than expected retail sales report this morning has allowed stocks to climb today.

Shares of Best Buy (BBY) 37.16, +2.51 are higher today, after the company posted better than expected earnings and increased their profit outlook.

Additionally, retailer Zumiez (ZUMZ) 20.09, +2.68 is up after increasing their earnings outlook, which now exceeds Wall Street estimates.

Cisco (CSCO) 21.87, +0.61 today hinted that the company will start paying a dividend in 2011.

December gold has been in positive territory all session and hit an all-time high of $1273.00 per ounce, up +$25.90.

The ten major sectors are mixed today with the leaders being Healthcare +0.69% followed by Basic Materials +0.68% and Technology +0.68%.
